Chennai Super Kings could be in massive trouble as one of their marquee players, Ben Stokes could be on his way out of IPL 2023 after walking out limping during the 4th day of New Zealand vs England 2nd Test. English all-rounder and England’s Test Captain, Stokes, was bought for a whopping sum of INR 16.25 Crores in the IPL 2023 Auction by the Chennai Super Kings.

On day 4 of the ongoing second Test match between England and New Zealand, England captain Ben Stokes was seen fumbling with his left knee. While he was spotted walking out after the day’s play, the knee ailment only permitted him to bowl two overs the entire day.

By the end of the day, New Zealand had strengthened their position and were 202-3, trailing by 24 runs when play ended on Sunday. On day four, they pushed their lead beyond 250 and tightened their grip on the Test match.

Kane Williamson’s (132), Devon Conway’s (61), Tom Latham’s (83), and Tom Blundell’s (90) contributions helped the Kiwis bat far better in the second innings than they had in the first.
